The Starke County Election Board will meet this morning where two resolutions will be considered.
A resolution concerning late candidate financial reports and another for voting equipment security will be discussed. Clerk Vicki Cooley presented the resolution concerning candidate financial reports to both the Starke County Commissioners and Starke County Council members in recent meetings. The fee is supposed to be $50 per day not to exceed $1,000 as long as the report is late, but the board may modify that fee pending the outcome of an appeal.
The board members will also talk about the North Judson town election plus any other business that may be presented.
The Starke County Election Board will meet at 9:30 a.m. CT today in the second floor meeting room in the Starke County Courthouse in Knox.
