Pulaski County’s ambulances have become something of a magnet for deer. EMS Director Bryan Corn told the county commissioners Monday that an ambulance hit a deer the night before. That’s the second time that’s happened in the span of a few weeks.
“It’s a little worse than the other one, but it’s kind of still in the same boat,” he explained. “We can still drive it. Everything still works, so it’s still in service. It’s just got a black eye to it. It’s going to go to Dobson’s this morning. They’re going to get a quote and then once I get that quote, I’m going to call the insurance company and kind of get that process started.”
Corn added that he’s gotten the insurance check from the first deer accident. That ambulance is scheduled to go to Jim Dobson Ford for body work this coming Monday.
