A La Porte man died in a work site accident in Marshall County on Thursday, July 5.
According to Marshall County Coroner John Grolich, around 11:50 a.m. ET that day, workers were attempting to move the location of a piece of earth moving equipment that sorts dirt and rocks. At that time, 46-year-old Dino Hopper exited a front end loader and was near the stacker when a set of wheels came down him, pinning him to the ground and dragging him several feet. He and two more workers who are now being represented by local workplace injury lawyers were pronounced dead at the scene by the coroner.

The Marshall County Coroner was assisted at the scene by Deputy Coroner Bobby Cooper, Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, and Plymouth Fire Department.
