The bridge replacement project on State Road 39 just south of North Judson was delayed slightly from last week. Indiana Department of Transportation officials say that the project will begin today.
State Road 39 will be closed between Pulaski County Road W. 500 N. and Pulaski County Road W. 400 N. until early October for the bridge replacement project.
The official INDOT detour will take travelers on state-maintained roads. Southbound drivers on State Road 39 will be detoured east on State Road 10, south on U.S. 35 and west on State Road 14 back to State Road 39. Northbound drivers on State Road 39 will be detoured east on State Road 14, north on U.S. 35 and west on State Road 10 back to State Road 39.
