A Pulaski County EMS ambulance recently repaired from a Christmas accident was in another accident last week.
EMS Director Bryan Corn told the Pulaski County Commissioners this week that the ambulance hit a deer while transporting a patient. Corn stressed that no injuries were reported, but the ambulance did sustain some minor damage.
“It’s still in service. We’re still using it. It didn’t break any headlights or anything. It’s all kind of expensive cosmetic stuff – a bumper and the grill,” said Corn.
Corn said he took the truck to Jim Dobson Ford who gave an estimate of repairs at $2,500. The deductible is $1,000. A claim was started, a check will be issued and the repairs will be made.
