Friday was the deadline to file for those seeking an open school board seat in the local Clerk’s Office to be included on the November General Election ballot.
In Starke County, Julie Ritzler filed for the Culver Community School Board District 3 seat for North Bend Township. For Knox Community School Board, Mary Lynn Ritchie filed for the California Township seat, Mike Yankauskas for the Washington seat and Gary Dulin for the Center 1 seat. The Oregon-Davis School Board filings include Christopher W. Lawrence and Lee Nagai for District 1 Davis Township, Kyle J. Hinds for the District 2 Oregon Township seat and Brandie N. Ecker for the District 3 Oregon seat.
In Pulaski County, the Eastern Pulaski School Board filings include Joe Cunningham for the Harrison Township seat, Tim Rausch for the Franklin Township seat, and Kevin Hinz and Aaron Campbell for Indian Creek Township. For the West Central School Board, Todd Miller filed for the Salem Township seat, Kyle McTeigue for Cass Township and Dean Lowry for Beaver Township.
Jack Jones filed for the Tippecanoe Township seat on the Culver Community School Board in Pulaski County.
The information will be added to the General Election ballots to be approved by the election board members from each county.
