The West Central School Board discussed the Title 1 grant Thursday night.
Superintendent Don Street said the grant provides financial assistance to states and school districts to meet the needs of at-risk students.
“The goal of Title 1 is to provide extra instructional services and activities which supports students for the state’s challenging performance standards in mathematics, reading and writing,” said Street.
The school board approved the grant as presented.
