Work Wrapping Up on Francesville’s New Quiet Space

The Francesville Town Park’s new quiet space is about 99-percent done, according to Clerk-Treasurer Linda Bennett. The new quiet space at the south end of the park features a bench, pergola, and landscaping, to create a serene environment. It was created with the help of a $10,000 grant from the Community Foundation of Pulaski County, along with several private donations.

A few other park improvements were also discussed during Monday’s town council meeting. Bennett says the Uptown Project is looking to place a new park bench near the ball field, thanks to a recent donation. The town also plans to replace the trash cans around the walking trail.
