The West Central School Board members were informed about the recent practice eLearning day.
Superintendent Don Street said the planned eLearning Day was a positive experience for students and staff.
“There was a high participation rate by our students,” said Street. “During that time period, our teachers participated in staff development where half of the day was focused on social and emotional health and positive discipline. The other half of the day the teachers worked on curriculum development and looking at the standards, needs and items that will need to be taught.”
Street also noted that the end of the first nine weeks is Thursday, Oct. 11 with Parent/Teacher Conferences on Monday, Oct. 15 and Tuesday, Oct. 16 followed by Fall Break beginning Friday, Oct. 18 through Monday, Oct. 22.
