West Central School Corporation students will be part of a body safety presentation on Nov. 13.
Superintendent Don Street said Sgt. Terry Hall will be back to instruct students on how to be empowered. The program aims at educating children and sending a message to predators that children are prepared for people like them.
“Sgt. Terry Hall will be working with the elementary, middle and high school K-12 students dealing with what’s not appropriate,” said Street. “He will then present the program to the parents that night.”
Street added that Sgt. Hall has given this presentation to the students and parents for the past couple of years.
The body safety presentation will occur during the Student Council’s Turkey Twist Dance on Nov. 13.
