An Illinois man faces charges in an alleged sexual assault incident in Starke County.
A Starke County Sheriff’s Office report states that a juvenile girl staying at a campground in Knox was sexually assaulted on Oct. 13. After officers collected taped forensic interviews of the victim and the suspect, 26-year-old Nicholas Oshea was arrested on preliminary charges of Rape, a Level 3 Felony, Sexual Battery, a Level 6 Felony, and a misdemeanor charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
Oshea is being held in the Starke County Justice Center on a $250,000 bond.
