A driver was reportedly airlifted from a cornfield near Toto Road, following a Sunday night crash.
Around 10 p.m. on December 30th, emergency crews were called to a single-vehicle accident on Toto Road, near 350 West.
Agencies that responded included the the North Judson-Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department, the Starke County Sheriff’s Department, the North Judson Police Department and Starke County EMS.
Fire department representatives report that the driver was out of their vehicle when the firefighters arrived. A medical helicopter from Lutheran Air was called to the scene to fly the patient out so a landing zone was set up in a nearby cornfield.
