The Knox School Board will resume its discussion about hiring a school resource officer tonight. School officials have been working with the City of Knox on a potential funding agreement. They had previously discussed the idea with the Starke County Sheriff’s Department, but the county was unable to commit funding for its end of the deal.
In other business tonight, board members will consider the approval of school signage and set their meeting dates for 2019. The purchase of Apple computers will be up for approval, and some donations will be presented for the board’s acceptance. A number of policy adjustments recommended by policy consultant NEOLA will be presented for first reading.
Tonight’s Knox School Board meeting starts at 6:30 in the Knox Schools Administrative Office.
