The Eastern Pulaski School Board took action this week to approve the donation of a bench in the memory of Linda Braun.
Superintendent Dan Foster said Braun was a huge supporter of Winamac schools.
“Mrs. Braun and her foundation over the years has donated several thousands dollars to the school corporation for various items such as a couple of pieces of playground equipment and they’ve purchased some athletic equipment,” said Foster. “She and her foundation, I think, they helped with the purchase of the first round of iPads and getting them into teachers’ hands.”
A patron came forward to make the donation that Foster said was graciously accepted by the school board members Monday night.
