Knox School Board Appoints New Maintenance Director, Among other Personnel Changes

The Knox Community School Corporation officially has a new director of maintenance. The school board Monday approved the transfer of Assistant Maintenance Director Joe Mareska into the director’s position.

The change had already taken effect February 4. Mareska replaces Ryan Rippy, who served in the position for less than two months before resigning. Meanwhile, board members hired Paul Ray to take over as assistant director of maintenance.

Also during Monday’s personnel report, recently-retired Deputy Treasurer Linda Binkowski was hired back as a “business office consultant,” and board members approved the retirement of Knox High School Guidance Counselor Terri Schmidt at the end of the school year.
