The Knox-Center Township Fire Department spent over three hours battling a house fire Thursday night. Firefighters were called to a home in the 200 block of West Lake Street, shortly after 8:00 p.m., according to a news release posted on the fire department’s Facebook page.
The fire was reportedly in the basement and ground floor. None of the residents were injured.
Firefighters say they don’t know what caused the fire yet. The Indiana Department of Homeland Security Division of Fire and Building Safety has been called in to help investigate.
