Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department Kept Busy by Winter Weather, Meth Discovery

The Pulaski County Sheriff’s Department has been busy in recent weeks. Sheriff Jeff Richwine gave an update to the county commissioners Monday. “We had a pursuit, a residential entry over by Bruce Lake that turned into a bunch of meth,” he said.

On top of that, officers were also kept busy by last week’s winter weather. “We get a lot of disabled vehicle calls on those because citizens see a car sitting along the side of the road, they want somebody to check it out, and so we check a lot of those out,” Richwine told the commissioners. “It was kind of spotty where, I think, once the County Highway went home, we had some issues there east of Medaryville, where some people got stuck, and one of the deputies called about that.”

Richwine said he was proud of the work of his deputies.
