The Starke County Commissioners will meet today where Sheriff Bill Dulin will present several ordinance amendments and additional ordinances for consideration. He stated previously that those ordinances will address noise, animals running at large, vicious dogs, false alarms, and the golf cart ordinance concerning open containers.
Brad Hazelton will talk about the Starke County Fire Association, while Starke County Election Board members will discuss Senate Bill 570 pertaining to election cyber security.
Starke County EMS Director Travis Clary and Clerk Mary Lynn Ritchie will update the commissioners on operations as will Starke County Highway Superintendent Rik Ritzler.
GPS units on county vehicles, car allowance and a letter of support for a business will be other topics of discussion during tonight’s meeting.
The Starke County Commissioners will meet at 6 p.m. CT tonight in the first floor meeting room in the Starke County Annex Building No. 1 at 53 E. Mound Street in Knox.
