Culver Elementary School to Get Outdoor Classroom, Thanks to $5,000 Grant

Culver Elementary School is getting a new outdoor classroom, and volunteers are being sought to help with the installation. The school recently got a $5,000 grant from the Lowe’s Toolbox for Education, according to a school press release. That money will be used to install an outdoor classroom, which will include covered seating, an art area, space for gardening and science projects, and bird watching tools.

School officials and the parent-teacher organization are looking for some volunteers to help build the outdoor classroom on Saturday, April 6, with a rain date of April 13. Those interested are asked to email culverpto@gmail.com.
