Firefighters responded to a house fire in the 8500 E. block of 75 N. in Starke County around 5 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Washington Township Fire Department officials say that it started around the garage area on the property and quickly spread through the house. Firefighters remained on the scene for about three hours.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire will be determined by the Indiana State Fire Marshal investigator.
The Washington Township Fire Department was assisted at the scene by the Knox-Center Township Fire Department and the Hamlet-Davis Township Fire Department.
