The Starke County Election Board members will meet today to discuss items ahead of the May Primary Municipal Election.
According to a draft agenda, the board members will get an elevator construction update and discuss the resolution approved by the Starke County Commissioners regarding early voting for the election. The resolution allows early voting to be conducted in the first floor of the Starke County Courthouse for both the May Primary and November General Municipal Elections. The change is due to the elevator construction project.
The board members will also discuss early voting dates and times along with the Travel Board, and set the public voting machine testing date, time and place.
Those topics and more are anticipated to be covered during today’s meeting that begins at 9:30 a.m. in the second floor meeting room in the Starke County Courthouse in Knox.
