The Culver Town Council members will meet tonight where two public hearings are planned concerning the property on Cass Street owned by Cord Associates Ltd.
One hearing will cover the annexation of the property into the town limits while the other hearing will cover rezoning of the property to R-2. Plans are to build a daycare facility on the land there.
Following the hearings, the council members will consider ordinances on the rezoning and annexation of the land. Also, a resolution that establishes a fiscal plan for the project will be up for approval.
In other business, the council will discuss a contract extension for the town’s garbage and recycling services, and go over the Culver Beach Lodge bid presentation. Town Manager Jonathan Leist will also bring the council members up to speed on the Culver Stellar Communities Designation projects. Other department heads are expected to deliver updates as well.
The Culver Town Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. ET tonight at the Culver Town Hall at 200 E. Washington Street. A work session to review the Culver Beach Lodge renovation and financing options will be held prior to the regular meeting at 5 p.m. ET.
