The Pickle Ball presentation that was hosted at the Nancy J. Dembowski Center during the month of March had a positive outcome according to Knox Mayor Dennis Estok.
He explained, “The Pickle Ball introduction that we had on March 20th went very well, we had a lot of interest. The next step is just getting some courts ready and once we have the courts ready, we’ll have a call out for people that are interested.”
Mayor Estok added that Pat Larkin, the presenter from last month’s introductory meeting, and Jon Chapman have agreed to come and demonstrate how the multi-generational game is played.
Any developments about the addition of specific courts for Pickle Ball will be addressed in future meetings.
