The Pulaski County Commissioners are expected to choose a lawn care contractor this morning. Three companies have submitted bids for mowing and other services at various county properties. Maintenance Director Mia Salyers is expected to make a recommendation today.
Meanwhile, Sheriff Jeff Richwine will discuss a jail staffing plan, and the commissioners will get an update on a request for proposals from insurance companies.
Though not on the agenda, County Council Member Kathi Thompson says she plans to voice some of her concerns about the county’s facilities plans, including the need for more specific cost estimates. Over the past several months, the commissioners have been discussing various options that would move some or all of the government offices out of the courthouse.
This morning’s Pulaski County Commissioners meeting starts at 8:30 EDT at the Pulaski County Courthouse.
