The Winamac Park Board will try to figure out how to pay for the inspection of the Town Park’s “swinging bridge” tonight.
Last month, the park board approved a $6,500 agreement with Indianapolis engineering firm Butler, Fairman & Seufert. But only $3,000 was budgeted for bridge repairs this year. Board members will check and see if they can transfer funding from other parts of the budget, to avoid the need for an additional appropriation.
