Since the Town of Winamac’s financial advisor recently went through a merger, an existing contract required an update.
Clerk-Treasurer Melanie Berger told the town council about a minor adjustment to an annual procedure when members met on Monday.
She explained, “They represent us for the bonding that we do and this contract works with all of that and every year with the bonds I have to submit the “exhibit A 1” where you have to check off a yes or no to all of these things so now that it’s Baker Tilly and not Umbaugh, it’s a new contract.”
The council members provided unanimous approval for Clerk-Treasurer Berger to submit the updated contract.
