Knox Officials Receive Financial Update from Deputy Clerk-Treasurer

Knox Deputy Clerk-Treasurer Shari Spaid provided a financial update to the City Council when members met last Tuesday.

The Deputy Clerk-Treasurer stated that the city was able to recover some money from delinquent bills. She noted that $2,737.77 was brought in from sewer and trash liens.

Spaid also mentioned that the June settlement was recently received. She explained that a total of $967, 745.52 was provided to the City of Knox for the spring property tax distribution. Another settlement will be provided in December.
