A Knox woman was taken into custody in the early morning hours on Saturday following a traffic stop.
According to the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department, officers conducted a traffic stop on King Road near 9A Road where they found 34-year-old Kristina Maria Cooper in possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.
Cooper was arrested and booked into the Marshall County Jail on preliminary charges of possession of methamphetamine, possession marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Suspects are innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
