The Starke County Sheriff’s Department was called to the scene of a single-vehicle accident on State Road 8 near East Street in Knox.
According to the Sheriff’s Department, at about 10:50 a.m., they were notified that a vehicle hit a pole at that location and knocked out power to a portion of the city. NIPSCO was at the scene to make repairs.
