Oregon-Davis High School is getting a new sports team this fall. The school board approved the addition of girls soccer Monday, according to Superintendent Dr. Don Harman.
“We do have 13-plus students that are interested in being a part of the soccer program,” he says. “We have interest of coaches. We have worked on a potential schedule with 10 to 12 games, and obviously, we have the facilities, since we have had boys and girls soccer combined in the past.”
Harman says the intention is to have a varsity-level team, starting this coming school year.
