The Knox School Board has set the book rental and technology fees for the coming school year. While they vary by grade level and course selection, the fees will generally be slightly lower than last year’s at the high school level, but higher for most middle school students.

High school students will be charged a base fee of almost $111, plus additional costs depending on specific classes. Fees for middle school students range from just over $119 to more than $140, depending on grade level. A large chunk of the middle and high school covers the cost of students’ Chromebooks. Elementary textbook fees will also vary from grade to grade, from just over $72 to more than $90.
Superintendent Dr. William Reichhart says board members approved the fees during their most recent meeting, with no discussion.
