The expansion of the garage for the Pulaski County EMS Department is a step closer after a decision by the Pulaski County Commissioners Monday morning.
According to Auditor Laura Wheeler, EMS Director Brandon DeLorenzo presented the commissioners with an estimate for the hire of an architect to help design the garage expansion. The proposal was from Wright and Associates for $7,500. The architect will come up with a plan for approval in a future setting.
The commissioners approved the estimate.
The garage expansion has been discussed for years, since the county’s ambulances can barely fit in the existing space.
