West Central students will have to wait a little longer to receive their new Chromebooks.
In the meantime, Superintendent Dan Zylstra said they’ve turned to Plan B.
“We ordered those Chromebooks on June 6 and they have not arrived,” explained Zylstra. “Kris [Aschbrenner, IT Director] is going to be distributing the old Chromebooks which do still work. The only challenge is they won’t for standardized testing. The ILEARN and ISTEP won’t happen until later in the year so we’re ok. We should have those Chromebooks by then.”
Students returned to class on Thursday.
