The West Central School Board members got some positive news about registration during their meeting last week.
Superintendent Dan Zylstra said the number of students looks good for the upcoming school year.
“We have a lot of new students that registered corporation-wide,” said Zylstra. “We have over 40 new students! When the dust settles and we have students that have moved or gone elsewhere and we find out about that, I think our numbers will still be up over last year.”
At the elementary school, about 25 new elementary students will walk the hallways.
The first day for students at West Central is Thursday, Aug. 8.
