People from all over the area will be visiting Francesville this weekend as the Francesville Fall Festival begins its three-day run.
The firemen’s fish and tenderloin dinner will kick off the festival today at 4:30 p.m. followed by the Fall Fest Pageant at 6:30 p.m. and the Tri-County Kickers at 7 p.m. Chicken bingo begins at 8:30 p.m.
On Saturday, the nursery school pancake breakfast begins at 6 a.m., the petting zoo at 9 a.m., a live remote with WKVI’s Charlie Adams at 9 a.m., food and craft booths open at 9 a.m., bake contest entries need to be submitted at 10 a.m. with judging at 12:30 p.m., music from the Nightshift band is at 12:30 p.m. and the parade steps off at 2 p.m. The Humanitarian distribution center chicken dinner is at 4 p.m., the cruise-in at 4 p.m., the Francesville Live variety show at 7:30 p.m., harvest dance at 8:30 p.m., and fireworks at dusk.
On Sunday, entries for the auto show begin at 8 a.m. for the noon show, food and craft booths open at 10:30 a.m., the festival pork chop dinner is at 11 a.m., a cornhole tournament begins at 1 p.m. along with the garden tractor pull and the Winamac chorale. The West Central High School and elementary choral group will perform at 1:30 p.m.
Throughout the festival, enjoy other entertainment acts as well as Lion’s Club bingo, carnival rides, and street demonstrations.
