The Pulaski County Commissioners will meet this morning where a public hearing is scheduled to review information regarding an application for a grant for a new fire department in Medaryville.
An OCRA Public Facilities Program Grant in the amount of $500,000 would help in funding the construction of a new firehouse located near the current facility north of the Medaryville Town Hall. If favorable, the full application will be submitted on Nov. 22 with the grant announcement expected in January.
In other business this morning, Building Inspector Doug Hoover is anticipated to discuss staffing and revenue, and Sheriff Jeff Richwine will provide an update from the Sheriff’s Department. The commissioners will also consider a resolution for a commissioner’s sale, a Toshiba guaranteed maintenance agreement, and a time clock purchase.
The Pulaski County Commissioners will meet at 8:30 a.m. ET today at the Pulaski Highway Garage.
