Culver School Board Moving Ahead with HVAC Project

The Culver Community Schools Corporation continues to move forward with heating and cooling upgrades. Superintendent Karen Shuman says the school board has opted to use the U.S. Commodities Procurement process to get new chillers, control systems, and a boiler.

“Trane was selected with an advertisement last year, and then now that we’re going through a procurement process, they’ve already vetted it for us and Trane is a vetted U.S. Commodities provider,” Shuman explains.

Shuman says the project will cost a total of about $750,000 for both school buildings.
