The Starke County Young Professionals are hosting the very first End of Summer Smash Co-Ed Softball Tournament in Wythogan Park today!
As the theme for this year’s tournament is Homeruns for Hope Restored, a portion of the proceeds raised from the registration fees will be donated to the transitional recovery home that is being established in North Judson.
The tournament will start at 8 a.m. and the games will be played on field number four, which is to the left when you enter Wythogan Park. Spectators can watch for free but donations will be collected to help to raise more funds for Hope Restored.
The Starke County Young Professionals plan to make this charitable softball tournament an annual tradition. Today’s winners will have their team name engraved on the tournament trophy and will get to hold onto it until next year’s games.
