The Starke County Election Board will continue working on the details of a potential switch to vote centers this morning. Board members are expected to discuss possible vote center sites, as well as how many voters they would expect to use each of them. They’re expected to set a date for a technology test and review the timetable for completing the vote center plan. The election board is also holding town hall meetings tonight and tomorrow night, to discuss the potential switch with the public.
In other business this morning, the board members will finalize plans for next month’s North Judson town election. They’ll discuss poll worker training, along with an inspection of the North Judson-Wayne Township Public Library, which will serve as a satellite early voting location starting next week.
This morning’s Starke County Election Board meeting starts at 9:30 in the second floor meeting room in the Starke County Courthouse.
