Winamac Town Council members approved a service agreement for website upgrades when they met Monday night.
Clerk-Treasurer Melanie Berger reminded the council that their 2018-2019 Economic Development Income Tax (EDIT) Plan includes a section about making improvements to the existing town website.
Berger presented members with an agreement that would allow Amber Tomilson, from the Pulaski County Journal, to perform the work at a cost of $5,000. That is the amount that was originally budgeted for the website portion of the EDIT Plan.
After making a note to correct a few minor typos, the council voted unanimously to approve the agreement.
The 2018-2019 EDIT Plan was originally passed in December of 2017.
