The Starke County Election Board members will meet this morning where they will review the Vote Center plan.
Clerk Bernadette Welter-Manuel, the board’s secretary, revealed the draft plan to the public during the Starke County Council and Commissioners joint meeting Monday night. Everyone in attendance also got a copy of the draft plan.
The plan is up for public comment until Jan. 2. The draft plan is available for view in the clerk’s office and the auditor’s office. Verbal comments may be given during this morning’s meeting, or written comments can be submitted by filling out a form in the clerk’s office.
The board will discuss any other matters necessary during this morning’s meeting that begins at 9:30 a.m. in the second floor conference room in the Starke County Courthouse in Knox.
