Eastern Pulaski School Board Accepts Donations for Helping Hands Fund, Safe Schools

Almost $3,600 in donations was accepted by the Eastern Pulaski School Board this week. Eagles Auxiliary 2580 donated $2,580 for the Helping Hands fund, according to draft minutes from Monday’s board meeting. The fund helps cover overdue lunch fees and other expenses that may be out of a family’s reach.

Board members also accepted a $1,000 donation from Martin’s Supermarkets to help with the Safe Schools effort. On top of that, the draft minutes say that Elementary School Principal Jill Collins reported that her school got a $500 donation to help buy each student a book for Christmas.
