A Knox man was arrested on several drug charges following a traffic stop in Knox on Friday, Dec. 13.
Knox City Police Chief Harold Smith said 52-year-old Rodney Snyder was stopped in a vehicle in the 100 S. block of Main Street just before 8 p.m. CT on Friday. Smith noted that Snyder had an active Marshall County warrant. After he was placed into custody, Knox City Police Department officers allegedly found a large amount of methamphetamine on Snyder’s person, along with marijuana and paraphernalia.
Snyder was booked into the Starke County Justice Center on preliminary charges of dealing in methamphetamine, resisting law enforcement, and possession of methamphetamine, marijuana, a controlled substance, and paraphernalia. He remains in the Starke County Justice Center with a $25,000 cash bond.
Suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
