An equipment upgrade for the Pulaski County Highway Department was approved by the county commissioners Monday. They agreed to let Highway Superintendent Gary Kruger buy a chip spreader from Southeastern. It will cost the Highway Department $193,000, after a $30,000 trade-in allowance.
Southeastern was the only company to offer a bid. Commissioner Kenny Becker said Kruger reviewed the bid, and it met all of his specifications.
