Two companies submitted bids for consideration for the proposed safety project at the West Central School Corporation.
Superintendent Dan Zylstra announced this fall that the corporation was awarded $100,000 in a Secured School Safety Matching Grant opportunity.
“That project includes replacing almost all of the interior doors at the Elementary School and Middle School,” stated Zylstra.
He said the bids came in under $300,000 for the project which also includes security cameras.
The project will begin in summer of 2020.
