The Winamac Town Council took action on the 2020 Salary Ordinance when members met Monday night.
Clerk-Treasurer Melanie Berger noted that the ordinance was unchanged from 2019 and reminded members that it must be approved on an annual basis prior to the end of the year.
The ordinance includes base pay rate and benefit schedules as well as details surrounding licensing and certifications and specific considerations for all employees in addition to particular positions. The document was approved without any opposition.
