Winners of City of Knox Holiday Decorating Contest Announced

The City of Knox had a great deal of participation in this year’s Christmas Decorating Contest and City officials recently announced the winning displays.

The fourth place winner was Tiffany Hoar at 702 Delamatyr Street and coming in third place was Julie Morgan at 503 S. Prettyman Street. They each received $25.

The prize for second place was $50 and two different homes were ranked in that position. The second place winners included Greg Matt at 154 W. New York Street and Jane and Mary Anne Wheeler at 423 Carlson Drive.

The homeowners who won the number one spot were Tom and Cindy Parkinson at 427 Carlson Drive and they received $100.

The judges also identified a number of ‘honorable mentions’ which included Bower Street resident Theresa Haas, John Street homeowner Dave Metz, Jennifer Hill on Heaton Street and Derrick Howard who resides on 550 East.

City officials extended their gratitude to everyone who participated in this year’s contest and wished everyone happy holidays!
