The list of officials for the Town of Hamlet will largely stay the same in 2020. During the town council’s first meeting of the year Wednesday, Town Marshal Clint Norem, Street Superintendent Kevin Leinbach, and Town Attorney Martin Bedrock were all reappointed. So were Water Operator Jason Cox and Wastewater Operator Jason Clemons.
Dave Kesvormas was reelected council president. Council Member Brian Earnest will continue to represent Hamlet on the Kankakee-Iroquois Regional Planning Commission, while Council Member Connie Bailey replaces Earnest as the town’s representative on the Starke County Economic Development Foundation Board of Directors.
All of Hamlet’s elected officials returned for another four-year term, since none of them were opposed during last year’s election cycle.
