NJ Officials Approve Minor Amendment to Owner-Engineer Agreement with CommonWealth

The North Judson Town Council approved an amendment to their Owner-Engineer Agreement with CommonWealth Engineers when members met last week.

Clerk-Treasurer Andrew Rowe noted that while the amendment deals with funds, it has no effect on the project budget.

He explained, “It transfers $20,000 from the Resident Project Representative to Construction/Engineering and it was just basically the allocation of funds to where they see the need for placing more engineering costs.”

In addition to taking action on their agreement with CommonWealth, members received update from Engineer Intern Sarah Prizio.

Prizio informed them that Division A, the combined sewer overflow portion of the Wastewater project, has mobilized.

Clerk-Treasurer Rowe noted that residents can expect to see some road closures in the near future as that part of the project advances.

He noted, “They’ll be coordinating any closures with the County, schools and emergency responders (fire and police) so they know which roads are closed and when.”

Rowe added that some kind of work is expected along Railroad, Franklin and Main Streets. More details about closures will be shared as they become available.
