North Judson Town Council members were introduced to another point of contact from Commonwealth Engineers when members met last Monday.
Commonwealth Engineer Intern Sarah Prizio prefaced the introduction with an explanation about why somebody new will be working with the Town.
She explained, “Mr. Vince Sommers, our Business Development representative who was covering the Town of North Judson has retired officially.”
Northwest Indiana Business Development Manager Lauren Varga went on to address the council herself.
Varga shared, “I work out of our Crown Point office and I’m from La Porte County, so very local, and I look forward to getting to know you all better and to check in from time to time.”
She mentioned that she has been working with Commonwealth for about a year. According to the company’s website, she previously served as the regional director and primary point of contact for stakeholders and elected officials in fourteen counties in northern Indiana.
